I love it. I use mine when kayaking. I tested this with an Otter Box Commuter case for my iPhone 6 plus using a paper towel instead of a phone. Didn't see myself taking the phone out of the case to use it so wanted to see if it would fit and work. And so it was. I went swimming in the lake with it tied around my neck and dove about 10 feet underwater. After a 15-minute test, not a drop of water entered. Again, my intended purpose is to use it in an out of water kayak so I figured if it passed that test it would work for me. Because of the phone case, I turn my phone upside down so my camera is in a clear plastic area so I can still take photos and use them while in the case. The home button is behind a white piece of plastic, but I can still use it. If I wasn't going to use it with a case I certainly wouldn't have to put it upside down. I have already posted some live kayak videos on FB. and take lots of photos. I'm sure my phone would be protected if I turned around. The rope that attaches the cord to the waterproof case is thin. Over time I will use a different clip tip. And the compass never worked. However, I didn't buy it for the compass.
