It turns out a good, wide hem.
I use this foot for hemming ripstop fabrics to make hammocks. It forms a large, permanent border on the fabric. It's not the most reliable sewing machine, but it's worked well so far. There is some hesitation between the body and the reel part. Properly preparing and guiding the fabric will result in a beautiful hem.
