In the past I have burned many DVDs of different brands without any problems. But this new Memorex DVD+R 8x medium doesn't suit me. Although the media can be burned without error messages, the 60 minute DVD movie playback starts stuttering after 30+ minutes on the same DVD burner as my home DVD player. I tried 3 discs with different movies and they all have the same problem. But the exact same DVD copies on my old Memorex DVD+RW 4x media don't have this reading problem at all. I also updated my DVD burner to the latest firmware but the reading problem still persists. Therefore, before purchasing, make sure that your DVD drive can use this new medium.
