I wanted purple sneakers. My dog does dog sports and our "team color" is purple. I bought them mainly because of the color. I also liked the breathable part as they can be worn in the hot summer months. I expected the right shoes. I have to say they are really comfortable. And purple is a beautiful shade. You can feel the breeze through them, so it's perfect for hot weather. I wear a size 7 and ordered a size 7 and they fit very well. I wasn't expecting quality from Keen or Merrell but was pretty happy with what I got for the price.
