It seemed like it should fit. 1440p at 60Hz with no issues, USB ports worked as expected. Something warmed up. Then I connected the ethernet cable. Even without using the power pack, but only by connecting Ethernet and 2 USB devices (without significant data transfers), the device gets incredibly hot and the Ethernet adapter has significant transmission errors: in the time I tested, almost a third of the packets were faulty and should have been retransmitted. I have requested a return authorization from Satechi as I feel the device is running too hot for durability and safety and the ethernet port is faulty.
