I had to replace a 20 year old pressure vessel from a well. The gauge and check valve were rusty, so I decided to just replace all of the brass connecting to the tank while I was at it. I've been trying to figure out what individual parts I need, but there were several different sized joints involved. I'm not a plumber so I wasn't confident in my ability to put all the different pieces together. Then I found this set. After deciding on the length of pipe I needed from the tank to the tee I ordered this kit. It even came with a full roll of Teflon tape. I was able to assemble the entire kit in about 20 minutes while sitting on the couch. Went to the shop and installed an 11" pipe in the expansion tank. I then installed the assembled kit onto the existing house/fountain installation. Finally I connected the pressure tank to the assembled kit with 11" rod pipe. It opened the safety valve and turned on the well pump. Viola! We had water again. The pressure switch was adjusted (the new tank was already pressurized) so no adjustments (just make sure you get a kit with the correct tank stem length and pressure switch settings for your pressure tank).Total assembly time was about an hour.I HIGHLY recommend this kit if you are going to inject a well injection tank through an 11- Replace inch reservoir stem. It would have taken me longer to figure out what individual parts I needed let alone order them than to assemble and install this kit.. The brass was heavy and the switch is burned in (Square D). Also the pressure gauge and the non-return valve appear to be of high quality.The kit also includes an overpressure ckventil that was not on my original setup. Very happy with my purchase of this kit.
