I was looking for mid-rise skirts, something for fall that you could wear sport capris under for an extra layer. This skirt isn't long enough for my capris, but it's still pretty. If you love underskirt cycling shorts, this is for you. I usually wear a US size 4 Petite, but I went up a size and bought this Yige Women's High Waist Flare Skirt, Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket. in size 6. It fits perfectly - my waist is 28 inches and my hips are 39 inches. The skirt arrived new and was folded into a plain plastic sleeve. I smoothed out the creases with a small tourist steamer, and although I hurried, the creases were easily smoothed out. Hangers are nice but I love the pockets! They are small but functional and fit my phone (iPhone SE (same size as iPhone 5)). A nice lining is sewn in, it's almost the same length as the skirt (not short like some linings) and it's a good color match, at least in khaki. The zipper didn't cause me any problems and is completely invisible. Pleats on the front and back are simple, classic and evenly spaced. As I twist and turn, the skirt doesn't go up very high, allowing modesty to be maintained and panties kept tucked away. But the skirt allows for a lot of movement, so if you need to get in the monster truck, you can. Finally, my dog loves this skirt. So this classic shape suits me and it has pockets and I think it's perfect. Now I have to decide which color I want to buy next 🤔
