Well, I pride myself on honesty. I read the reviews and agree there is a lot of slime, I bought my first tube at the grocery store and didn't like the slime. I've been using the original product for a long time, but that's why I chose this product. I have dentures and have had problems with gingivitis. This denture glue helps with gingivitis, so it would be nice if there was less mucus. Your other product didn't hold dentures any better, but after using it for more comfort I got used to it. So I guess I have to hope that the company reads this and improves the product, works better but doesn't lose comfort.
