Heavy duty, fits my blender, changed from painted white and vinyl aluminum to stainless steel. Correction. The blade of the blender touches the bottom of the bowl and over time the paint will wear off. There should be 4 sheets of paper between the bottom of the blender bowl and the blender blade. If you don't tilt the motor up and see the blender adjustment screw (regular screwdriver size), turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to raise/lower the blender blade. When properly adjusted, the sheets of paper will fit between the blade and the bowl. You will not hear the sound of the mixing bowl blades when the mixing blades are working. The adjustment process may need to be repeated, usually annually or when the drum noise returns. Don't wait for the paint to come off the spatula, you'll need to buy a new spatula. My device is 30 years old, I painted it, oiled it, it looks like new, never had any problems.
