I like them better than the aluminum ones
I didn't expect them to like them as much as I cherish my old Boye hook sets from the 70's but when I got them after my last one I didn't move I decided to try these plastic hooks. To my surprise, I like them. They are warmer, lighter, smoother and work better with some yarns like Lion Brand Homespun which tend to snag on my metal hooks. In fact, I only use these crystallites now. The only downside is that the smallest size bends easily (not a problem if I'm careful not to knit too tight) and when the yarn color matches the hook color it's a bit harder to see.
