I gave 4 stars ONLY because of the smell. It's a very strong smell and I'm concerned it might be toxic to my bird. I let it air out to see if it dissolves. As you can see it's big enough for my kennel and I'm sure it will fit in my kennel too. Although I put it in. the photo of him in the stretcher is bad, he had no startled reaction. I like the load bearing floor that has a removable cover that can be removed and cleaned. Overall I am happy with this product and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Just remember that cockatiel-sized birds will be uncomfortable. It might be fine for a ring-necked parakeet, but I wouldn't risk it.
