These things are cool! I use them to quickly secure my travel bags. My wife and I have just returned from London and Paris where everyone warns you to be on the lookout for thieves and pickpockets - and we actually ran into two little villains! (Now that we're home I use them on my key rings to get my keys in and out.) Perfect security. While they are not locks, they are very well made and have strong S-clamps. Closing zips or clasps will slow thieves enough to force them to look elsewhere for loot. And the little black thing in the middle of each hook is the lever that keeps the ends of the clip from opening easily; Rotate it and you can't click open. Again, no lock per se, but step it up and thieves want quick access to your goodies so they can grab them and get out quickly. Playing around with these things isn't something they really want to do. I clipped them to the zippers on our luggage, my wife's holdall, and even clipped one between my money belt and belt loop. This keychain bundle is by far the cheapest way to get these nifty clips (usually $5 for just two clips!) and the keychain is just a nice addition - and it's a clip too!.
