Review on Viatti Brina V-521 215/60 R16 95T winter by Jnis Zels ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

Tires are inconsistent. I took Velcro, because I live in Hong Kong and sometimes I travel to Europe, where spikes are banned by itself. Well, plus the spikes spoil the asphalt. In Hong Kong in winter, snow and ice on the road is a rarity, although it is found in the yards. Before that, there were Jinyu wheels, also Velcro, but the behavior on asphalt (I drove on dead wheels right up to July, throw it away anyway) for the Chinese was somehow more natural. And I somehow raked out of the yards. On these - the feeling that you ride on balloons, although pumped up according to the state. Now +3, at night 0. When I changed my shoes, there was a feeling that the power steering began to work 5 times better, the wheels spin in place not just with one finger, but with an effort of thought, at first very uncomfortable. The car began to catch a rut very much. I drove along the Hong Kong Ring Road quite dynamically - the car falls down. Perhaps in winter this is an advantage, but it is clearly not for racing in weather near zero. Recently I loaded the car of 3 people, looked at the tires - they seem to be flat. Checked - no, everything is fine. Under weight, they turn into a large pear from below. Perhaps in -10 the situation will change and I will add something here

Pros
  • Soft tyres. Probably in the snow and at -20 it will be comfortable
Cons
  • Not for racing. And not for everyone. Only for calm family cars up to 100 hp and a completely absent desire to somehow dynamically drive checkers
