I love micro jigs. but it's not

For context, I'm a fan of Microjig. The grrripper is arguably the greatest invention for shop security, the grr rip block is perfect too, the dovetail clamps are used all the time in my shop and the dado rail is just awesome. The conical attachment is second to none. Not sure if it was an accident but at least quality control with them is an issue. Here are the cons of my experience: 1.) The drill included in the kit is bent. I only noticed it after trying to drill my first hole, which caused the entire jig and hole to shift. Now I have an extra unusable hole in my clean zero gap board. 2.) The pins on the 2 supplied splitters are of different sizes. There must have been enough difference in shape that the posts on one were slightly larger than those on the other. Result? The openings for a single shard were narrow but manageable. the other didn't fit at all. (even nah) I used graphite grease, still nothing. The posts ended up having to be hand sanded, which took about an hour to get a decent fit. 3.) Almost impossible to remove without breaking. I had to remove one to make a notch and although I very carefully removed it straight up two posts broke. After I managed to free her from holes, the same thing happened to another 2 days later. $9 per pair for a replacement, no thanks. Now I could drill the holes a little bigger (which the instructions specifically don't say) or sand the posts a bit to make them come out a little easier, but you really want something to come out easier if it's a few inches from the saw, turning in your direction? For spending over $20 for 3 molded plastic parts and a drill, I didn't have to "fix" the product to make it usable. I have $22 less left in my bank account and a brand new zero spaced plate with 5 unnecessary holes drilled in it. I'm still a fan of the micro jig technology but they missed it here.
