I am amazed at the level of quality they have been able to squeeze out of such a simple, tried and true design. It's like the combination lock we all once had on our school lockers. It still claims to be the Master Lock but it has cheap build quality unless they are insanely cheap now. I think the only way to make things worse is to make the case out of multiple layers of aluminum foil, although in reality this may end up being more metallic than this lock is currently made. I'm sure a hammer hit or two will easily ruin the thing. Luckily, I recently read a statistic that less than 50% of today's generation even own a hammer, so as time goes by I can become more and more confident in the security of my holdall. At least I can console the decline of another iconic product of my youth, knowing that the reduced weight will save on fuel costs by transporting this gimmick and lining investors' pockets.
