I am 28 years old and recovering from numerous ankle injuries from soccer. I've gotten to the point where my ankle keeps telling me it's not 100%, even with a year off. A year ago, an MRI showed an injury from repeated injuries, the doctor said to go to rehab and only play if the ankle does not swell after playing. I play receiver, so being able to cut and "fly" is a must. Now I can do this by combining: Pre-Wrap Spray Ankle Wrap (prevents blistering and ensures good bandaging) Athletic Tape (Since you're wearing a bandage, it's easy to apply tape to tape. Be sure to check out YouTube -Videos on How to bandage your ankle properly, it's very important to get it right) Low toe (make sure it fits snugly around your foot) Cramer Active ankle brace (brace I'm reviewing.) The brace is Well made, well padded and very comfortable. It keeps the ankle firmly in place and provides flawless up and down movement. I've played soccer with this brace and so far I'm very impressed. I have no swelling at all! thanks to the bracket. The technique of wrapping with tape along with the orthosis makes it much more comfortable and safer.
