2.5 years of stable, quiet, trouble-free operation. Running WD Red 2TB drives in Raid 10. I didn't want a fancy raid box, the more bells and whistles the more problems. It's a "set it and forget it" box. I've just ordered another one so I can separate my work and gaming from the box I'm currently working with. My second box has been running for a little over a year and works great too. I noticed that when connected via USB 3.0, it takes much longer to turn off than via eSATA. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Eg both boxes Raid 10 (1+0) because I value redundancy/data storage over disk size. As hard drives become cheaper and cheaper, I can always and easily upgrade to get more capacity. A drive died a while back and it was so easy to take it out, put a new drive in and after a rebuild I ran overnight everything was back to 100%.
