I have never written a negative review because of the installation, but given that it costs extra money and unnecessary trips to the store, an honest warning is needed. 1. After removing the three screws on the truck, it took a lot of effort to align the step on the screws. This is a design difficulty as the bolt gets in the way of the two bolts and they are pushed in making it difficult for the nut to start and have to be pulled out. 2. It is not possible to use the newly purchased 21mm deep socket. The depth of the socket and the angle will not allow you to get on the screw. 3. Luckily I have a second car to go to the store and buy a regular 21mm head. 4. The wobbler extension alone can't hit either bolt (should be "and" for both in the instructions. 5. Back to the store for a 1/2 turn. 6. Two hours after several trips and a bloody pinched finger due to I tried to get the deep seat to work and ended up screwing it in. Frustrated at the unnecessary hassle of the offset hole and lack of a small notch where another screw blocks straight alignment, this is an expensive part I would expect a direct fit, I was able to install a tailgate strut on a mining truck in 15 minutes, it should have been just as easy or even easier.
