This water bottle was delivered faster than expected and the seller was great! We bought a 60 ounce blue and pink bottle so we could drink more water. When I received them I understood why people had problems with the straw in the reviews. It's a completely different concept and doesn't seem to work that way. I had to go back to the reviews and see how others did it to figure out how to set it up. Find out how to use it exactly as it is. The lip opens and the straw rises. A real straw has a slight vacuum seal, but doesn't need to be pulled all the way out to drink. It takes a while to get used to using a straw that's only 1/2 inch long, but it's doable. Not sure why this was the agreed design as there are many more efficient ways to use a straw but it is what it is. The carry handle is nice and very easy to clean. I thought it was used when I opened it but both jars are the same so I doubt that was the case. I washed them and all the parts in the dishwasher and they came out perfectly clean. I wish I could find a bottle with a straw that holds the same amount of water but fits in cup holders as it's cumbersome to toss on a car seat. But it's the best I've come across so far.
