i received my package, waited a few days to use up the end of the current cartridge and opened the cartridge revain- shipping carton. After taking the branded cartridge out of the box, peeling off the plastic wrap and pulling the orange tab, I unscrewed the orange connector cover. To my surprise, the ink from the hole spilled onto my hands, the printer, and the carpet, leaving a real mess. I buy genuine HP ink cartridges to avoid such problems, so I was doubly surprised. Let's hope this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, otherwise the printer will end up in the trash.
