The first unofficial adapter I've tested that has the same low input lag as the official Nintendo. Contrary to popular belief, the Mayflash adapter actually has an input lag when compared to the official Nintendo adapter. When I tested this adapter with my official Nintendo adapter using a 144Hz monitor and a 240fps camera, I couldn't see any performance difference between the two adapters. A general overview of how I tested: I recorded 2 videos in which I performed a melee fox shine multiple times while holding my hand and the monitor in the camera's field of view, one with the official adapter and the other with the Hyperkin adapter. I then count the number of frames after pressing the b key until my 144hz monitor lights up in a 240fps video. I also used Faster Melee to get the lowest possible input lag (lower than even CRT). After comparing several samples, I found that the properties were identical. Considering the official Nintendo adapter costs $100, I highly recommend this adapter as it offers the same lag-free performance as the original.
