My daughter is 7 years old, approx height 47 inches, weight 48 pounds. She wears from toddler 5T to girls XS or 5/6 depending on the brand. I bought her this "fire coral" shirt in a size 5 and it fits perfectly. slightly more at the neck and shoulders, but it didn't need to be pinned up. The length was longer as it is short but not so long that it looks like a tunic. I haven't washed it yet but it still fits it's shrinking a bit. The cutouts were also the right size for school (keeping the "straps" thick enough). As previously mentioned, this color looks more like neon coral/orange than true salmon coral. This is a great basic t-shirt that is easy to mix and match with other pieces, but the cutouts make it more interesting and fashionable than a regular solid color t-shirt. The fabric is opaque, soft and dense and my daughter said so. it was comfortable I plan to buy other colors in the same style.
