I have an extremely low bridge of the nose and VERY tall writing. I have a very hard time finding frames that fit my face and stay on my face without scooping out. This year I got a light blue CK metal frame and the standard nose pads were hard plastic. Suffice it to say that they slipped and dug very often. The aim was great, they let me get a CK instead of a larger Ray-Ban frame. I don't want to do it again. So I turned to Revain for some help. Anything to help with digging? Found them on sale, $4 for 8 pairs with tools, screws and a box to keep them. I guess I won't buy coffee for 2 days even if they don't work. Installation was easy. The instrument is double-sided. The screws and screwdriver are very small, please provide adequate lighting. I put my glasses on a white napkin so I don't lose anything. The pair change lasted 10 minutes. It wasn't difficult at all. Additional Comments. Make sure the nosepiece screw hole is not blocked by silicone. It took me 10 minutes because I didn't have enough light when I put the 2nd pad on. The screw hole on the product was actually blocked with clear silicone. I had to pierce it with a toothpick to tighten the screw. I reused the screws that came with the frames instead of the ones that came with the kit. Not sure if this will make a difference. In terms of comfort, I have to say that it makes a big difference. My glasses no longer cut into my skin. My scenario is very high, so my lenses are at least 20mm thick at the bottom. They provide some pressure relief, but not complete. Hey, anyone's better than none, right? underpants? They still slide but it seems to me that they slide slower compared to hard plastic. After my 6-step night care, the original hard plastic glides faster. Must readjust more often. But these? I think it helped my glasses glide more slowly. But it can all be in my head. I also wash my glasses with mild soap every night. To get the water into the air chamber, I squeeze it a few times to get the water out. Otherwise no big deal. I wear them for two nights and on one of the days I wore contacts. I haven't talked about them long enough to comment on their durability. I also recommend keeping your original gaskets in case they don't work. Overall I would highly recommend anyone who wears glasses to try them out. Even if they suck, it's only 3 coffees.
