The toy has a squeaker in the top that has a low sound like a duck call that they love. The arms have higher pitched squeakers that don't sound off much. The dogs tend to play with this one by themselves and it's a hardy toy. We've had it over a month and no signs of stuffing showing yet. The funny part is the Octopus often ends up standing, which is funny to see. Definite thumbs up on this toy.Update:We've had this same Tuffy Octopus Tiger since 2012; it's outlasted 7 Golden Retriever puppies and 1 German Shepherd puppy who've grown up (last Golden is only 8 1/2 most old). No holes! We've gone through many Tuffy rings and several Tuffy 'bone' type toys. Absolutely love Tuffy products! 💗💗💗👍
