The 4 ounce bottle is much larger than other beard oils. I have very coarse facial hair and this oil has made my close trimmed beard soft and silky. Compared to my other oils, the softness was the same but the silkiness was greater. This product does not have a dropper but a convenient dosing cap. Since I didn't scoop a small amount from the tiny bottle with an eyedropper, the increased silkiness might be due to using more. But using a little more isn't bad if you have a bottle with 4 or 5 times more oil than other brands. The aroma is not overpowering.
