Bought to keep an eye on the water cooling tank for my laser cutter which it works great for. I was planning to power it with a standard lithium-ion power bank (like the kind you charge with phones, for example), but I ran into a rather interesting dilemma: the power consumption of this sensor is so low that all power supplies that I've tried turning off automatically (they are designed to stop current below a threshold to prevent parasitic current leakage), which turns off the sensor. My low-tech solution is to just turn the power on manually when I need to test the sensor (the sensor stays on for 15 seconds).
