I usually do my best to look for US made products, but I can also find European, Japanese, etc if you can't find them. I like to buy quality and unskilled workers in 1st world countries. This is the main reason I bought them and not similar products. And I'm glad I did! I've caught one of these things before to cover for cat food, since a cat doesn't get an entire can at a time. It worked well but not great. These pieces sit tighter and stay on the lees better than the others I have. I'm very happy with it as it's the best seal to protect against them. Good to know they work great in many "human" food jars as well if I ever need to create something. Otherwise the design is good, the colors are ok. nothing to like!
