First Impression: Use the Keyboard Case

I got it because the keyboard case is very uncomfortable to hold in portrait mode. I thought it would be easier with a wrist strap but it doesn't work as a few inches down it works better for portrait viewing, ugh, but I use it in portrait mode by holding it by the bottom corners. The tablet is NOT stable when using the stand in portrait mode. The rear hand strap/stand is difficult to rotate. After using it for a day I didn't like it so I found a lighter silicone gel case and used it with my old tablet for portrait mode use.

Pros

Great: The case gives you easy access to all buttons, controls and ports without having to remove your tablet from the case. Drop protection protects against falls, caseport covers prevent dust from entering the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
