Takes out LARGE pips - about the size of a plum and possibly an apicos
Arrived 2 days after ordering. Heavy, solid, spring-return. With the oversized saddle and the 4-fold blade you can quickly remove pits the size of plums. Like a handmade Mondo cherry stone. Faster and safer than with a paring knife. We used a piece of Velcro to rip off a head of lettuce to keep it closed in the kitchen drawer for sundries.
