The power supply seems stable, but is Riing kidding?

3 days into a new Ryzen 5600x build and I really have no complaints. I won't be overclocking this build and the 10 year warranty is really good if anything happens (btw this is coming from someone with no TT customer experience). But apart from the warranty, the power supply seems reliable, the plugs are connected and everything seems fine. But software? I've never had a PSU with software, so the diagnosis is good. I love that it tells me loads (so accurate) and usage stats, but there are two issues I have with this software and they are location data. Just why? It's got all sorts of cloud services so I'm assuming it's for mobile app software, but a very big F. There's no way I can install that software on my phone so I can get the hot smoking crap that Riing is, can remote control. This makes trying to set up your PSU fan lighting so terrifying that you might as well turn off the lights and turn the PSU upside down so it sucks in outside air. It's actually just an external solid LED and 6 internal LEDs. I mean, according to the software, there are 12 outer LEDs, but if you turn off half of them, the entire outer ring is still on. So if you need additional lighting for your Unicorn Puke build I'll probably consider other power supplies with better software. At least something you can sync with Corsair or Aura Sync because having more than 3 RBG programs is really a hit.
