Review on πŸ”₯ Mai Cook 3500W Electric Induction Cooktop - Stainless Steel Countertop Burners for Enhanced Performance by Jeff Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love to simmer and cook this way almost every day now. Although not very suitable for frying.

Once connected to the right socket, it's fantastic for cooking food. Now that brewing is so easy, I cook something this way almost every day. It is very easy to keep clean and I also find the controls simple. I usually turn it up and until the water boils (in seconds) then lower it (Celsius) to 80 100 or 120 depending on what I'm cooking. To maintain one of those temperatures, it turns on at full power for a short time, then turns off for a short time. That means it gets way hotter than 100, which is a problem for something like semolina, for example, because it cooks out of the pot before it cools down again. Thus, it is very similar to cooking in a microwave oven. For something that boils easily I use 80. For most cooking I use 100 but when it's not boiling and I want strong bubbles I use 120. For frying I find a regular electric coil for best results It's too easy, to burn the material when it is on and there is too much temperature difference between on and off when it goes to the set temperature.
