Lighter than I expected. The instructions were a little vague. Went to their website for more instructions but ended up finding better information on YouTube. My car is a 2012 4 Runner and I didn't know how to use my existing plastic clips that were in my front carpet. Eventually I found I had to take them off, they just pull out and use the two brackets that came with it. They only include these for the driver's side, not the passenger's side. There are also no locks in the area of the 2nd row of seats. It would be nice if they did. That's why I give 4 stars. The material appears to be resilient to everyday use and abuse. You look good too. Just ordered a luggage rack.
