i like the look of these collars, they are sooo cute but i wish they were bigger. I don't expect them to last long but for the price I don't mind buying them a few times a year. I have exactly 6 cats and I find it fun to try new patterns. A couple of my cats can run faster and take it off from time to time, I just put it back on them. Remember that these are fashion collars and not functional collars. My cats are indoor cats and only go outside in a safe, escape proof backyard so I don't need them to stay, I just love that they have cute clothes to wear. Also, they're all adults who have been wearing collars for years, so I know they're smart enough not to try to eat them or get in trouble for them. If you have a kitten that is not yet collared, do not adopt. I can see how this could cause a problem and the kitten could be in danger. Use a no-frills tearaway collar for training until your child is past the stage where I can try to kill myself with my collar.
