After figuring out how to wrap the plastic tape around the entire perimeter of the old pants I was able to successfully thread the replacement lace in minutes. To get the new cable in and out of the plastic grommet, you must slide it past the rounded end of the cable. This is a good buy and will extend the life of my sweatpants. TX! I didn't give five stars because I just finished. Even if I had cotton jogging pants instead of nylon tights, it would be a no-brainer.
