I love that this is a rechargeable fan with a USB-C charging cable. After unpacking, it is easy to use. I used distilled water because we have hard water. My friend also advised me to drain the remaining water when not in use to prevent further clogging of the mr. The first button is on/off and the second button has 3 fan speeds (low, medium, high) and the third button controls the mist (high, medium, light). For a desktop or bedside device, this works great. I will use it to help with hot flashes at night. It doesn't cool the whole room. You will need a much larger block to do this. I might use this in our pop up camper to cool it down. Although we haven't tried it yet. Due to COVID and four of us working/studying remotely, I set up my workstation upstairs in a room that receives afternoon sun. Instead of freezing all of them below for my convenience, I used this. It worked great.
