For very, very oily scalp. I have a burning, itchy, very red, irritated scalp, but not greasy. It's very dry. This only exacerbated the problem. I'm sure this is a good product for allergy sufferers but make sure your scalp and hair are oily. This product can really dry out the scalp and hair. Read all instructions before purchasing. The first time I used it was great. The second time my scalp was so dry I could hardly comb my hair. I'm sure it works great on very oily hair and scalp. I really like the gel and the hairspray. I use shampoo and conditioner for a dry, itchy scalp and then apply styling products to my hair with hairspray. Styling products (gel and spray) helped cope with irritation. Remember that the right shampoo and conditioner can help, but then styling products are added. This defeats the purpose. So, for those of you with very oily hair and scalp. The products are excellent. Styling products are very good for everyone.
