Review on Baggallini Cross Crossbody Midnight Blossom by Stephanie Jonsson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Like the position but not wide enough

First a disclaimer: I carry a lot of things. I have children with allergies/sensitivities and type 1 diabetes. So I carry a lot of their stuff with me. If you don't carry a lot of stuff - this bag will be GREAT. This bag has three main compartments. One with a zipper that goes to the left edge of the belt, one with a zipper that goes to the right edge of the belt and one that is formed between them. I have an entire zipped compartment in my bag filled with Laktaid, painkillers, spare contact lenses, a glucagon injector, spare test strips and insulin pen tips, allergy medication, etc. Almost half from Walgreens, but always seems to be the wrong half. I tucked a notepad, checkbook, and some stationery into another zippered compartment. Seriously, every pen in the house is dying here. In the middle compartment - and that's the problem - I really can't fit. When you fill the other two compartments, the bag has no space to expand, so the middle compartment becomes quite narrow. Keys (on a short retractable strap), a packet of tissues, breath mints, a spare battery and charging cable, and the included retractable pouch that now holds my money and a rubber band full of cards. Baggalini - where have those wonderful card fans gone? Please put some of it in your RFID pocket! There is no room for a real wallet here. There are several practical organizer pockets on the outside of the bag. I have small makeup products in the two that close (again, they don't open, and one is completely filled with standard compact powder). Behind are several open pockets that are convenient for storing your phone and sunglasses. I can find them tactilely while driving without taking my eyes off the road, so these are important features for me. There is another open flat pocket on the back which is really only useful for papers - receipts, directions, coupons, programs etc. I like the light color of the lining, the thoughtful design of the bag and the WASHING of Baggalini bags. and this one in particular. . I wish I had the same organizational skills as my old Baggalini EveryWhere bag, which washes like new (minus the ink stain inside) and will likely be used again. I took my crossover crossbody on a road trip (leaving half the medical stuff at home) and it was a little easier to drive, but if I could I would have a much roomier interior (hope they expand the base in the next design ) and I would like to be able to accommodate a spare meter and/or insulin pen (and case). They tried to make the bag thin, but the inside is very tight. I feel like I can only fill one of the three main pockets and the other two are less useful.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE STRAP: The 52 inch strap can be adjusted to carry the bag over the shoulder or crossbody. The bag can also expand downwards so you can fit everything you need.
Cons
  • Expandable
