Seems hard. good for boxing

Works great. I installed in 2x6's that I installed perpendicular to the ceiling joists. I used my own nuts and bolts although they came with bolts. I'm not sure I want the entire active load to be on one beam. I was afraid that in places where the threads sagged, the shock absorber would gradually wear out on the wood. I'll definitely get a feather. All in all it seems difficult.
