I'm a chef and I've decided to do something more stylish. The bottom (soles? handles?) of the shoes started falling apart after about 3 weeks and could be tripped over. I contacted Birkenstock and they immediately told me to sand the sand down because I bought them on Amazon. Contacted the seller who was quick to tell me they contacted Birkenstock and never received a response or credit for a very expensive, poorly made shoe. Can't recommend, won't buy again. I'm going to tell people to stay away from Birkenstock for the rest of my career.
