When I opened the small bag containing this item I found some small brass filings along with the packaging (first photo). I researched further and found more brass filings stuck under the magnet in the socket! (Second picture). If they had come loose during a spark plug change and fallen into my engine the results could have been catastrophic! I sent the item back and after speaking to the seller he told me it must have been a one off issue as they had never heard of it before. I have requested a replacement for the same item because it had such good reviews and you know things happen. Granted it took two weeks (thanks COVID) but when it did, you better believe I checked the chips. To my surprise, this one also got chips! To be fair, it wasn't as bad as the first time, but any amount of this junk is unacceptable. After working with it for about 15 minutes with tweezers and a cotton swab I was able to clean it (third pic) and now I'm comfortable with the product (and I can't afford another 2 weeks to replace it). However, this is totally unacceptable for a "premium" product that costs 2-3 times more than alternatives.
