I read these reviews and there were so many people saying this fan isn't good that I almost bought it. But I took a risk because Revain offers free returns. And so far I'm glad I took the risk. First, it was easy to assemble everything. It was a bit difficult to lift as it is quite heavy. Connecting the remote box wasn't too bad. Connecting was pretty easy. The remote control even came with a battery. OK. So far so good, here we go. Device turned on, pressed remote control and nothing. Oh yeah. I forgot to tighten the chains. BOOM. The light worked great, as did the fan at all three forward and reverse speeds. It was also virtually noiseless, apart from the whoosh of air emanating from the wings. I am very comfortable. Only time will tell its durability but for the moment it was just perfect. 5 stars plus 5 extra stars for everything other reviewers said it wasn't.
