If you need pliers, buy them!
Excellent pliers, just what I expected from Armor Tools! Haven't tried downsizing anything yet, but it looks like the extra leverage will be very useful. They feel solid with eel grips, the nose closes well and has a pincer feel that I can get a really tight grip on when needed. This is my second Armor Tool and I will definitely continue to buy from them.
