I was glad to get another Steel Series headset. I always had my old one and I really liked it. I had a SteelSeries Siberia v2 and it broke my heart when it started going haywire and stopped working. To be honest I have had this headset for almost 3 years and have taken great care of it. This? Well I was very happy to find a headset with air cushions for the ears. The skin is TAAAAAA hot. They are very comfortable and I love wearing them. but there is a catch. A strap at the top to "adjust" it to fit everyone? Well it isn't. The headset keeps slipping off my head because it's too big for me and the Velcro fastener can't be adjusted properly. If I tilt my head back even an inch, it will just fall. I've tried to fix it and it just can't be fixed. As for the mic it's not clear, my old one was very clear and it sounded like me. Currently? It's not clear at all, it's a tinny sound and I distort the sound. I'm very disappointed but I have no choice but to stay with them as I can't get another Siberia set for cheap (not even). The next thing I absolutely HATE about this headset is the cord. It's divided into three parts, two if you're using it with a PC like me. They have a wire that goes from the headset to the middle of the entire length of the wire. You pair it with a button that's so sensitive that if you press it even a little bit, the sounds will be ruined. Mute the sound of some things and boost others. I understand that's his function, but he's so, so, so sensitive. This is my third thing I hate about this headset. button in the middle of the wire. Glad it's there, but why is it so easy to move? Just poke him? or is it a brush on my arm? Oh well. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I would check. This is a bad leader in my opinion. and quite expensive (I don't mind because I'm paying for quality, I would be okay with the price if the product wasn't so badly designed.
