Great for brewing. best in interior

Great for brewing! It was exactly what I was looking for. It's 240v 20 amps and has Canadian electrical safety ratings (unlike some of those induction torches which don't have safety ratings as far as I can tell). I've seen some other reviewers get confused by the fork. This system uses a standard plug used in US 240V, 20A outlets. Make sure you have the correct output. I recommend plugging it into a dedicated 240V 20A circuit with AFCI and a bubble cap for spills. The device is made of stainless steel, looks very professional with a durable rheostat. The default timer is 2 hours before shutdown, but you can easily set it much longer on brew day. Boils 8 gallons in 72-78 minutes and seems to have good temperature control (although I've only done test runs with water so far). I've included a picture of my brew space (no hot liquor tank or mash tun).

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad but...
