Make your hands and fingers happy

If you've had a hobby knife for a while, these handles are a must. I do fairly heavy work with them on a regular basis and the original grips can cause serious damage to fingers and hands. Also, it's inconvenient to constantly tighten the collet that holds the blade in place. The rounded shape of the original handles also tends to roll off your workbench, aiming for your feet. These soft grips solve all of these problems in one fell swoop. Although a retightening is still needed from time to time, it's easier and safer to turn the knurled handle on the underside since it's away from the blade. The square shape prevents rolling, while the soft yet easy-to-hold handle protects fingers and hands from abrasion during tough cutting jobs. Do yourself a favor and try these pens. Just ordered a 2nd and 3rd to attach most commonly used blades to their own handle.

Pros
  • Changing blades is easy and only takes a few minutes
Cons
  • I don't remember
