I bought this set for my daughter's first birthday. It was the perfect sizing set because I didn't want to go all out if we couldn't have a party (COVID) but still wanted to make this day special. She loved all the bright colors and playing with brushes. Tassels and puffballs are quite fragile, so a one-year-old destroyed them easily, but she liked them. I took the advice of other reviewers and started with them well before the party. The set takes some time to make, so don't expect to put it together right before a party (2-3 hours over a couple of days), but it was easy to do mindlessly in front of the TV after the kid has left school had gone .
