Due to COVID and updated disinfection practices, we professional makeup artists should no longer use the same sponge for multiple faces. This means that we either have to give the blender to our customers or throw it away after a single use. You can imagine how expensive it can be, even after a wedding or a concert where you have to bang 5-6 people. We're going to Revain. These are the BEST sponges I've bought here. They are SO SOFT, mix product like a dream and don't absorb a lot of product which I think means clean up is a breeze. The material, pore size and rebound are very similar to the OG Beauty Blender. They perfectly blend foundation (even more transparent! You don't just soak up the product!), concealer and apply powder. I had no trouble washing off the color or any unpleasant odors. My only advice with these Revain sponges (as with all others) is to clean them before use. Squeeze them under running water several times until this mysterious soapy substance comes out. Then you can go. It's great value for money and I really couldn't be happier. I will buy them now
