If you're buying for winter, go 1 size up for an extra room.
I'm surprised the jacket fits so well but then again I was hoping to get the jacket a bit bigger so I ordered a 5-6 for my 5 year old son but it fits perfectly ! lol oops! I will definitely be spending the winter in Alaska to see how he is doing and if he is doing well I will continue to order jackets from them for my family of 5! So far it has been a great jacket and definitely thick!
