I really expected it to be a shiny red or metallic alloy from the pictures but a matte red it should have been. You are strong, yes you can? pull them with all your strength, no, they bend. I may be stronger than most, but they served me well getting in and out of the jeep. The price is great as for the same price on rough country or other top brands you only get half of what you get here either just front grab bars or rear passenger grab bars rather than a full set. So they're great for the price and I'm not planning on using them to hold on with all my weight. Finally, the rubber parts are not fixed, they slide, some of you don't care, some of you, like me, will rotate them until the logo names are facing the same direction.
