My dog has been wearing Ruffwear 1.5 inches for the past 3 years quite successfully. I was looking for something more flexible that came a little higher. I measured carefully and ordered a size 4, then a size 3. Both were too big (usually too much material on the paws) and the dog just didn't like them. The dog weighs 12 pounds, is assessed by the vet as healthy and thin. I love being able to buy in pairs at an affordable price and definitely appreciate the return policy. They appear to be breathable. Maybe better for dogs with longer legs as they were too big for my friend.
